DIET CONSULTATION + NUTRITION PLAN

Your first visit will take about an hour. The introductory meeting revolves around an interview about eating habits, which is why we expect you to fill your nutrition journal beforehand (see below) and bring it with you. After we collect all the information, we perform a body composition analysis, which serves as a modern alternative to just weighing your body.

Next we try to find the cause of your difficulties, work on our strategy, and estimate how much time is necessary to implement it effectively. At that point, we arrange a schedule of future meetings. Within a week you can expect to receive your individualized nutrition plan, either via e-mail or during your next consultation. We recommend the latter option, as it gives us the opportunity to explain the plan in detail and answer any question on the spot.


When deciding on the hour of the meeting, keep in mind that body composition analysis is at its most reliable if the measurement is performed roughly at the same time of day.

What you should prepare for your first visit:

  • your nutrition journal filled in for three separate days (preferably two working days and a weekend day). It should include the size and the time of your meals. We recommend updating your journal regularly, right after every meal and snack.
  • a questionnaire about your nutrition and health, including information concerning your eating habits, medical conditions and physical activity.

Other helpful information:

  • medical examination results from the previous six months: blood, urine, and thyroid hormone tests, blood sugar level and a lipid profile.
  • a journal with blood pressure measurements performed at home over the course of the previous week, every morning and every evening.
  • if you suffer from a chronic medical condition, you should bring your medical history and the list of medicines you take
  • if you are a professional athlete, it is recommended to bring your performance test results, as well as additional information concerning the intensity and frequency of your training, your goals, and any dietary supplements you use.

DIET CONSULTATION:

  • we will talk to you about your eating habits based on your nutrition journals;
  • we will design a nutrition strategy corresponding to your goals and answer any related questions;
  • we will present general nutrition advice based on latest publications;
  • we will tell you about the importance of particular macronutrients and their food sources;
  • we will attempt to optimize your vitamin and mineral intake;
  • we will analyse the most common dietary mistakes;
  • we will perform a body composition analysis and other measurements.

NUTRITION PLAN:

  • individualized, based on the questionnaire and the journal;

  • prepared to fit best with your personal time and taste preferences, as well as your finances;

  • aimed to help you achieve your goals as efficiently as possible.

We would like to note that creating an individualized diet plan takes some time, and you will not receive yours on your first visit. Instead, we will gather all necessary information first, allowing us to present the plan within a week, either via e-mail or during your next consultation.
